HipHop: A Love Story Ep. 3

For this episode of Hip Hop: A Love Story were going to take trip back to that feel good era of fusing a little HipHop with R&B. When asked Darwin "when did you fall in love with HipHop?" He had the most puzzling look on his face, after he processed it he knew without a doubt that the classic 1996 hit "No Diggity" by Blackstreet and Dr. Dre. Now this wasn't too hard to connect because Darwin is a proud LA resident and Dr. Dre is a Legend.

He first heard this song when he was 4years old and I think we all had that one song as a toddler that would make us dance, well... this one was his. His favorite part is the point before the beat drops where one of the Blackstreet singers cue Dre to rap "Yo Dre drop the verse!" Followed by a strong tune played on the piano. It's the song that stood out the most to him, throughout the years of growing up he always felt good when this song came on. It was also cool to him that everyone may not know the group Blackstreet but when they hear the song they know it. Now as an adult, you find Darwin playing No Diggity on his iPod or in rare occasion he Karaokes.
